Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and professional part-time driver to assist with the delivery of our agricultural products primarily truck beds. This role involves driving our truck and trailer 2-3 days per week with the possibility of occasional overnight stays.
The ideal candidate will have experience in driving similar vehicles be customer-focused and meet all required medical and legal driving certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely load transport and deliver beds to various locations using the company truck and trailer.
Plan and execute delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate drop-offs.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure proper documentation.
Follow all traffic and safety regulations while driving.
Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
Requirements:
Must possess a valid drivers license.
Ability to obtain a valid medical card (required).
Commercial Drivers License (CDL) preferred but not mandatory.
Experience driving trucks with trailers.
Flexibility for occasional overnight stays.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Ability to lift and maneuver heavy items during loading/unloading.
Work Schedule:
Part-time: 2-3 days per week.
Flexible schedule with occasional overnight trips.
Compensation:
Hourly rate based on experience.
