Our exciting recent projects have included new 110kV and 220kV substations (both grid exit points and grid injection points) numerous 33kV switchrooms and replacement of large-scale transmission protection schemes.

What will you be responsible for
As a Team Leader you will be leading the design of HV transmission projects throughout NZ while also fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. You will play a crucial role in the design of some of NZs critical electrical infrastructure which will ultimately improve the reliability and quality of supply to our communities.
In addition to providing people leadership technical guidance and senior-level support to the Transmission Team you will also promote cohesion among various teams in our office.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise alongside a passion for motivating and developing others exceptional leadership abilities and a passion for driving operational excellence. You will be a natural leader who is results-driven and capable of executing projects whilst leading and coaching a high-performing team or be a senior or principal engineer who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role.
You will also have a solid grounding within the transmission sector and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will need a university degree - BE Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent and preferably have five years minimum relevant experience. Additionally it would be great to have:
