Job Summary

The Process Engineer is responsible for leading the development optimization and control of key manufacturing processes to ensure consistent high-quality output and operational efficiency. This role involves ownership of critical processes support for cross-functional projects and mentoring junior engineers and technicians. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement through data-driven analysis structured problem-solving and strong collaboration with production quality and equipment teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and sustain ownership of designated production processes RF/DC test & TBE.
Analyze process performance using statistical methods; drive improvements in yield cycle time and cost.
Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective & preventive actions (RCA/CAPA) for quality issues.
Champion continuous improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma or other structured methodologies.
Support new product introduction (NPI) with process qualification documentation and training.
Collaborate with R&D equipment and quality teams to enhance process capability and robustness.
Ensure process documentation (SOPs control plans FMEAs) is up-to-date and audit-compliant.
Participate in audits (internal customer regulatory) and provide technical support as required.
Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians in technical problem solving and best practices.
Monitor emerging trends and evaluate new technologies to enhance manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (Electronics Mechanical Chemical or related).
Minimum 35 years of hands-on experience in process engineering within a high-volume manufacturing environment (semiconductor or electronics preferred).
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and drive cross-functional alignment.
Expertise in SPC DOE FMEA and other statistical/process control methodologies.
Strong knowledge of MES systems (e.g. CAMSTAR) data analysis tools (e.g. Minitab) and automation systems.
Preferred Skills and Attributes:
Green Belt or Black Belt certification in Six Sigma is a plus.
Familiarity with ISO/IATF 16949 quality systems and reliability engineering.
Excellent analytical communication and leadership skills.
High attention to detail with a proactive hands-on mindset.
Ability to influence and lead change across functions and levels.
