HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
As the Assistant Finance Manager you will work closely with the Finance Manager to manage the financial operation and controlling process ensuring compliance with Company policies and IFRS standards. You will also be responsible for identifying defining and driving process improvement projects in view to the rapidly changing business environment.
- Prepare monthly financial report package and ensure compliance with IFRS & Group guidelines
- Manage day-to-day financial operations including tax computation B/S monitoring IFRS 16 lease accounting preparations general ledgers postings
- Assist in ESG reporting and other internal reporting exercises
- Support the statutory audit & tax compilation and preparation of annual financial statements actively liaises with external auditors and tax advisors during the processes
- Liaise and advise Maisons and support functions on the appropriate accounting treatment of transactions & business drivers
- Drive process improvement projects in line with the business needs and changing context
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US
- You are a qualified accountant and attained bachelors degree or above in accounting or equivalent
- You have a strong track record in the field of accounting. You will gain advantage if you have experienced in big4 audit/ retail industry
- You have solid understanding of finance process and financials policies and controls
- You have strong knowledge of IFRS and local tax regulations
- You are proficient in MS Office and SAP with process improvement experience
- You are strong in analytical interpersonal and communication skills. You are also self-motivated proactive and action-oriented attention to detail.
