About the role
- Were looking for aChargeback Analyst with a strong interest in AI and automationto help us scale and evolve our dispute operations through technology.
- Youll work alongside product managers data scientists and engineers to bring automation to every layer of the chargeback process from dispute analysis to documentation generation deadline monitoring fraud detection and beyond.
- Your main focus will be tobuild smart scalable solutions using Python and AI tools (ML models LLMs etc.) always aligned with the evolving rules fromVisa Mastercard Elo and Amex.
What Youll Be Doing
- Learn and master chargeback rules across acquiring and issuing operations (well teach you)
- Work closely with developers to automate manual processes usingPython
- Design and test automations powered bymachine learning and generative AI
- Stay up to date withcard network (Visa Mastercard Elo Amex) changesand ensure operational compliance
- Help translate business rules and customer needs into data-driven scalable solutions
- Investigate dispute and fraud patterns using analytics and classification models
- Build or improve internal tools that boost productivity and recovery efficiency
What You Need To Succeed
- Basic knowledge ofPythonand interest in applying it to real-world problems
- Interest or experience withAI tools: LLMs (e.g. OpenAI) ML models classification NLP etc.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Eagerness to learn about chargeback operations and payment networks
- Strong communication skills and team collaboration
- Proactive and curious you ask why and seek patterns
- Ability to understand and act onnetwork updates and deadlines
