Job Description
About the role:
As the Mobile Engineering Manager you will lead a talented team of mobile engineers responsible for delivering and continuously improving our core product.
You will be responsible for driving execution and operational excellence within the mobile engineering team ensuring that product initiatives and improvements are shipped with greater speed and focus. Your role is to resolve issues and support each engineer enabling the team to deliver efficiently and with confidence. This role will play a key part in ensuring the successful execution of defined solutions.
Lastly experience in start-up environments is highly regarded as it often reflects adaptability initiative and the ability to thrive in dynamic fast-paced settings.
What will you do
Lead mentor and support a high-performing team of iOS and Android engineers fostering a collaborative environment focused on high-velocity delivery.
Partner closely with the main stakeholders to align on priorities translate strategic direction into actionable plans and ensure seamless execution across teams.
Ensure team productivity and alignment by finding opportunities in our stack & practices.
Track progress raise issues when needed and make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
Be involved in the delivery of features and improvements to our mobile apps from idea to production.
What youll bring
Proven execution capabilities to drive initiatives forward track progress and ensure timely high-quality delivery.
Clear and effective communication skills with the ability to engage and align effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
Demonstrated experience managing engineering teams with a strong focus on alignment clarity and team development.
A results-driven mindset and a doer attitude characterized by a strong sense of ownership and a consistent drive to see initiatives through to completion.
Experience working as a mobile developer to contribute a technical perspective and guide implementation decisions when needed.
