Job Title:Regional Controller

Location:West Haven UT

Compensation:$150000 base bonus

The Kostelic Agency is proud to partner with a fast-growing PE-backed services company to bring you a hands-on Regional Controller opportunity in West Haven UT (just north of Salt Lake City).

This role is 100% onsite and the heartbeat of the regions accounting function overseeing accruals reconciliations AP and payroll while serving as the local business partner to operations. Youll lead a small team keep the books accurate and translate numbers into clear insights for non-financial leaders.

What Youll Do:

Own the full accounting cycle for the region (accruals reconciliations JE corrections etc.)
Oversee AP payroll and billing/collections staff ensuring accuracy and accountability
Partner directly with dispatchers operations leaders and management to keep financials aligned with the business
Serve as the trusted financial advisor for the region translating accounting into actionable insights
Maintain compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
Identify and fix transaction errors improving processes as needed
Mentor and guide a small team (3 direct reports) creating structure and consistency
Collaborate with the Corporate Controller and CFO to align regional reporting with company goals

Ideal Profile:

10 years of progressive accounting experience (CPA a plus not required)
Strong technical accounting background (accruals reconciliations transaction-level accuracy)
Skilled communicator able to explain financials to non-accountants
Experience leading or mentoring small teams
Comfortable in a fast-paced PE-backed growth environment
