You will have the unique opportunity to actively participate in local healthcare coalition and regional disaster preparedness efforts in this role! Come join this amazing team and develop and direct effective systems within the organization to plan and prepare mitigate respond and recover from disaster situations. Develop coordinate implement and evaluate processes to meet the educational and competency needs of hospital staff and physicians specific to disaster preparedness. *No RN License or Experience Required*

Exempt Full-time
Hybrid position with both ability to work remotely at times while also working on campus and visiting off site locations regularly.
Position Summary
Develop and direct effective systems within the organization to plan and prepare mitigate respond and recover from disaster situations. Develop coordinate implement and evaluate processes to meet the educational and competency needs of hospital staff and physicians specific to disaster preparedness.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of three years current clinical experience in a health care setting required.
Bachelors degree required.
Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills required.
Demonstrate ability to instruct and collaborate with others required.
Ability to solve complex problems through a well-ordered approach required.
Knowledge of systems and change theory individual and group behaviors teaching and learning principles and research outcomes required.
Ability to balance and prioritize diverse clinical and leadership responsibilities required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word Excel and PowerPoint required.
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license or appropriate allied health license or registration in the state of Nebraska only as required in accordance with appropriate health-related degree required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1 2023 or later).
National Incident Management Systemand 800 certification within one month of hire or transfer date required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in emergency preparedness preferred.
Bachelors degree in nursing or allied health field preferred.
