Junior RAG and LLM Software Developer
Security Clearance Requirement: Current and Active DoD Secret
Salary Range: $80K - $95K

Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Junior RAG and LLM Software Developer to join our AI Engineering team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who has practical experience building generative AI applications and is eager to grow in a fast-paced mission-driver environment.
Position Responsibilities:
Assist in developing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines using modern AI frameworks.
Build and maintain web applications that integrate LLMs for semantic search and classification.
Support the developer synthetic data pipelines and edge-optimized AI systems.
Collaborate with senior engineers and stakeholders to implement and refine AI features.
Participate in demos briefings and technical discussions to showcase capabilities.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of hands-on experience in software development preferably in AI/ML projects.
Exposure to RAG systems and LLM integrations using tools like LangChain or Haystack.
Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
Familiarity with vector databases and SQL.
Experience with FastAPI Docker and Git.
Strong interest in defense government and tactical applications is a plus.

Desired Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.
Located on the East Coast of the U.S. (DC/Baltimore/NJ areas preferred)
Experience with geospatial data or tactical message formats (VMF CoT)
