About the Role Temporary Position
As anUnderwriting Assistanton the Latin America Facultative Team youll support the Financial Lines and Casualty Facultative Underwriting team based in our Miami FL office.
What Youll Do
- Review incoming transactions for completeness accuracy and quality
- Process multi-line new business submissions renewals and endorsements
- Follow department guidelines and suggest improvements
- Manage broker and underwriting relationships with timely communication
- Maintain correspondence and track activity using internal systems
- Ensure compliance with ODEN state rules for cancellations and reinstatements
- Analyze underwriting data including audits reports and financials
- Update internal reports as directed by your manager
What You Bring
- Bachelors degree or at least 1 year of professional experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset
- Analytical thinking and initiative
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in Spanish
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools
