Job Description

We are looking for aResearch Fellow who will help us with mid-infrared photonics. The role will focus on Mid-infrared integrated passive photonics devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct theoretical and experimental research on mid-infrared silicon photonics.

  • Design and implement mid-infrared active and passive devices such as lasers and detectors and waveguides.

  • Develop and validate mid-infrared active and passive devices such as lasers and detectors and waveguides.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to explore practical applications of mid-infrared silicon photonics.

  • Prepare high-quality research publications and present findings at conferences and seminars.

Job Requirements:

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering Physics Optical Engineering or other related fields

  • Relevant experience / technical hands-on experience in mid-infrared photonics

  • Good written and oral communication skills

  • The ability to conduct independent research is highly desirable.
