Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies policies and procedures in the logistics industry.
- Source and evaluate suppliers negotiating favorable terms and conditions.
- Manage supplier relationships and conduct performance evaluations.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
- Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of procurement activities with business requirements.
- Coordinate and oversee the procurement process from purchase requisition to delivery and payment.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies regulations and ethical practices.
- Generate reports and analysis on procurement performance costs and savings.
- Stay updated on industry developments and best practices in procurement and logistics.
Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business or related field.
- Prior experience in procurement preferably in the logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
- Experience in supplier management and negotiation.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Legal authorization to work in the location of the job posting.
