GENERAL PURPOSE:
Process metal components to specifications (e.g. clean deburr polish strengthen finish to size).
GENERAL DUTIES:
Load unload set-up operate monitor various metal processing and finishing equipment. (i.e. lorcos washers Jensen Dryers shot peens harperizers swecos molycote tumbler Saturn 2900 etc.).
Maintain accurate processing reports. Transport material to and from designated areas.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Receive instructions from Supervisors follows routing tickets and implement manufacturing specifications. Transports material with use of appropriate equipment (i.e. fork trucks hand trucks hand carts elect hoists). Uses semi-complicated gauging equipment and computer operated interface panels with graphic displays. Completes SPC requirements. The incumbent is required to disassemble/reassemble specific parts on equipment. Mathematical computations involving decimals. Routine decisions based on specific criteria to meet manufacturing standards interpersonal relations require explanation and/or interpretation of information. Performs work in accordance with a wide range of safety procedures. Heavy physical exertion is required.
Incumbent will maintain work areas in a neat and orderly fashion.

This individual will work in manners that stress the importance of preventing accidents and illnesses. He/she must take every precaution reasonable in the given circumstance for the protection of themselves and addition he/she is responsible for reporting all injuries and/or possible dangerous situations incidents or occurrences to the immediate supervisor.
