Job Description
ITHACA INTERNAL JOB POSTING: Only members in good standing of the Teamster Union Local #317 currently employed at BorgWarner Ithaca LLC will be considered for this position. All other applicants will not be considered.

General
- Demonstrated competency to make significant decisions and follow instructions.
Communications
- Demonstrated competency in effective communications using reading writing and verbal skills.
- Blueprint experience/training.
Math
- Demonstrated competency to perform basic math skills (add subtract multiply divide); make computations using decimals fractions and whole numbers.
Mechanical
- Demonstrated competency with use of basic hand tools micrometers.
- Demonstrated competency operating complicated machinery.
- Ability to learn/perform complex set-ups and quality procedures.
- Able to operate three complete complex machines and semi-complicated measuring equipment.
Physical
- Able to do heavy physical exertion requiring constant standing moving repetitive lifting pulling and pushing close mental/visual attention.
- Able to work in dirty noisy environment.
