Job Description

Our client is a major public health institution. It is seeking to employ an experienced
professional to join them as
Senior Manager People Relations (focusing on workplace
relations) (Ref: KHXXXX)
The successful candidate will report to the Chief Human Resource Officer. He/She will
partner leadership and line managers in providing guidance and solutions in day-to-day
people matters and in achieving the long-term goals and objectives of the hospital cluster
and hospital. He/She will also be responsible for leading and developing strategies that
strengthen employee-employer relationships foster a strong organizational culture and
create a healthy work environment based on mutual respect trust and appreciation

The Job
a) Business Support
Build relationship with stakeholders as a trusted HR partner through thoughtful
HR solutions to meet the business needs. Coach and develop the business
leadership team to drive positive changes in people management and advise
on manpower strategies and solutions.
Provide professional advice on the interpretation of HR policies and
procedures employment legislation performance management manpower
planning recruitment and rewards strategies.
Work with Centre of Excellence and relevant key stakeholders in the delivery
of key HR projects and initiatives.
Drive people engagement build morale improve workplace relationships and
boost employee productivity and retention

b) Performance and Development
Partner with leaders for identification of successors and talents for business-
critical roles and organization's talent profiles.
Facilitate performance moderation and discussions with leadership.
c) Workplace Relations
Lead in the hospitals Industrial Relations and Employee Relations matters and
develop a positive working relationship with the union.
Guide senior leaders and HR team members in handling complex performance
and disciplinary matters.
Lead and undertake complex investigations when required collaborating with
legal and other teams as necessary.

Guide peers and team members in conflict resolutions and grievance handling
processes.
Facilitate negotiation conflict resolution and grievance meetings with
stakeholders to achieve mutually agreed outcomes.

The Candidate
Bachelors Degree in Human Resource or Business Management-related
discipline from an established university
Minimum 15 years of HR experience.
Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills to engage staff of all levels.
Strong leadership capability people developer.
