Job Summary

Overview:

Lead the design validation and implementation of software and cloud architectures in GCP (preferred) and Azure (valued) promoting secure scalable governed solutions aligned with business objectives industry best practices and technological innovation.

What will you do

Design and validate cloud architectures that support business objectives including strategies for integrations security performance and cost efficiency;
Promote standards component reuse governance and automation in deployment processes;
Support modernization projects digital transformation proof of concepts and the adoption of new technologies such as AI and cloud-native solutions;
Conduct PoCs to test and validate new technological solutions;
Influence and guide technical teams in implementing best practices related to cloud security DevOps CI/CD and observability.

What are we looking for

Over 5 years of experience in software architecture with a focus on microservices APIs integrations and distributed solutions - Advanced knowledge of the GCP platform including key components: Cloud DNS VPC Cloud Load Balancer Cloud Armor Cloud Run Cloud SQL Cloud Storage Cloud Logging Cloud Pub/Sub Artifact Registry Cloud Scheduler Cloud IAM Secret Manager;
Ability to design assess and manage cloud architectures including landing zones reusable components deployment and governance;
Skilled in transforming requirements into modular secure and scalable solutions with a strong emphasis on microservices APIs and cloud-native approaches;
Lead the definition of technical guidelines architecture standards and ADRs promoting standardization and component reuse;
Ability to evaluate use cases (Go/NoGo2 Cloud) considering dependencies security costs and risks;
Additional expertise in DevSecOps tools such as Kubernetes Terraform and GitOps;
Knowledge of integrating with new AI technologies particularly GenAI;
Strong involvement in security observability and mentoring of technical teams;
Experience with Azure and regulated environments focused on governance and security;
GCP certifications such as Cloud Architect and Cloud Engineer;
Hands-on knowledge of orchestration and deployment tools including Kubernetes Terraform and GitOps.
