Inviting applications for the role of Process Developer Healthcare collections
The primary function of a Healthcare Insurance Claims Associate /Collector is to research and review medical claims obtain necessary information from providers to update/correct claims and to then send to insurance payors to expedite adjudication of claims.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
Contacting payors to collect on outstanding claims
Research claim denials on behalf of our clients make determination on proper next step for claim resolution
Update correct and rebill medical claims according to proper billing guidelines
File Appeals for AR Denial and Auth Denials
Attention to Detail and Accuracy.
System savvy Multi applications.
Process Daily Correspondence (Mail Fax and Emails)
Provides assistance/resolution to clients inquiries
Supports and assists team members
Maintain a current working knowledge of all healthcare related issues and regulations
Documents response activities to patient claim inquires following Genpact client guidelines and system tasks and notes
Performs other related projects and duties as assigned
Candidate will work closely with Internal and External Customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Excel knowledge is required
Detail oriented and highly organized ability to meet deadlines articulate with good telephone skills and etiquette
Must be able to work on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
Accounts receivable or collections background in a Health Care related field is a plus.
Relevant years of experience in US healthcare is a plus.
US healthcare DME experience is a plus
Minimum qualifications:
Any Graduate
Excellent soft skills to deal with the sensitive employee grievances or relations
Excellent verbal written presentation and interpersonal skills in English
Preferred qualifications
Should have excellent India payroll experience.
Ability to work efficiently and independently balance pressure
Work as a phenomenal teammate & highly motivated with excellent problem solving skills
Should be capable in doing multitasking and should be quick in doing right delegation and decision making.
Must be multifaceted having an eye on details and able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment.
Should be good in Microsoft Office. Especially in Excel Word Visio and Power-point.
Should be innovative to embrace the technology change in the process for smoother operations.
Good command on the Oracle ERPs like Financial and Payroll systems is preferred.
Should have experience in our kind of Payroll Size (40-50 thousand employees) is preferred.
