4224 Ridge Lea Road - Amherst New York 14226Job Summary The Consumer Consultant will be part of a team that is responsible for enhancing transparency and building consistency and collaboration across Consumer Product Management with a risk-based focus. Brings an innovative growth mindset that will be instrumental in process improvements execution of initiatives and facilitating the desired outcomes.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Lead special projects to support business goals and client needs.
Ensure consumer client initiatives align with business strategies.
Develop and use business and performance data presentations and meetings.
Analyze data to produce insight.
Identify track and escalate issues; ensure risk mitigation.
Operate independently influence peers and leadership and drive best practice adoption.
Review and recommend process improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align stakeholder efforts in the consumer bank.
Coordinate work required for executive updates and presentations and assist with
preparing presentations to senior leaders
Recognize and escalate risks while maintaining robust control procedures and team processes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
At least 7 years in financial services
Proven project management skills leading medium to large multi-functional projects
Strong analytical process and conceptual abilities
Skilled at explaining complex concepts clearly to stakeholders leaders and sales teams
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management
Proven capability to collaborate with support partners and influence teams across different locations
Skilled at maintaining a results-driven approach and responding with a strong sense of urgency
Committed to fulfilling responsibilities overcoming obstacles and optimizing resources to achieve high-quality outcomes
Able to work independently with minimal guidance or supervision
Demonstrated expertise in leading high-quality execution with a thorough focus on risk management
