AWS DevOps Engineer

Our client one of the largest Amazon Web Services (AWS) partners for data services is looking for a Mid to Seniorlevel Java Developerto contribute to join their team of technologists to build and contribute to large-scale innovative projects. Job Responsibilities:

• Assist customer with developing Kibana dashboard to highlight changes to account configs and highlight security anomalies.
• Ensures DevOps practices and tool-sets are followed to support our drive towards continuous delivery across our multi-platform application portfolio.
• Assist customer to build reference architectures to enable customer teams adopt out-of-region DR.
• Develop tools and products that are used in central automation and contribute to development milestones.
• Continually look for ways to innovate and improve testing process to gain efficiencies.
• Effectively communicate DevOps activities and project risk in oral and written formats.
• Build solutions and be able to think holistically about engineering challenges and architecture.
• Excellent understanding in computer science fundamentals - Algorithm design Problem solving Complexity analysis and data structures.
• Expert experience in design and implementation in terms of Infrastructure Creation/Configuration and CI/CD.
• Evangelize DevOps tools and processes.
• Demonstrable experience in architecting designing and developing.
• DevOps toolsets Good troubleshooting and debugging mindset.
• Awareness and exposure in deploying Deep Learning models and Big data applications.

Qualifications:

• At least 3years of hands-on experiencein the areas/tools listed below
• Strong background inLinux/UnixAdministration Experience with automation/configuration management.
• Grafana (creating dashboards from multiple data sources. creating dashboards presenting metrics in custom charts)
• Splunk
• Strong experience in scripting such asPython and TypeScript.
• Hands-on AWSplatform experienceAWS Certificationwill be a big plus.
• Ability to use a variety of open-source technologies and cloud services(experience with AWS is required). Some services like AWS Config CloudTrail SCPs KMS VPC CDK.
• Working knowledge of continuous integration platforms such as Jenkinsand various other deployment tools
• Working knowledge of source code repositories such asGit(BitBucket) Subversion etc.
