Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform daily supervision of vendors and contractors O&M activities across assigned sites ensuring Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) due dates and all specifications are strictly adhered to.
- Conduct job completion assessments. Supervise end-to-end maintenance (Corrective and Preventive) schedule testing and quality assurance of companys owned electrical equipment in assigned clusters.
- Perform site visits on new project opportunities to determine the available site power and utility/facility constraints collect information regarding construction permits and assist with preparation of cost estimates.
- Contribute to the development of company policies in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with instrumentation and control system design. Develop and/or modify configuration programs logic diagrams develop specifications and/or QC subcontractor-prepared programs.
- Implement design specifications and functional requirements for solar energy systems or components and Create plans for solar energy system development monitoring and evaluation activities as designed for the specific site.
- Prepare and submit reports to the Regional Site Managers on all matters pertaining to the job area.
- Responsible for oversight of optimal operations and uptime for all sites (>80) in assigned clusters by managing the activities of the site engineers. And act as relief site engineer when assigned engineer is away on leave
- Create a high-performing focused culture through Site engineers supervision and performance management
- Foster a positive culture where employee input is encouraged and differences are resolved constructively.
- Ensure the maintenance of appropriate professional ethics knowledge and standards within the team
- Ensure that the Companys Health Safety and Environment policies are always complied with and that Health Safety and Environment is an integral part of all work practices.
- Manage relationships with vendors and contractors.
- Ensure proactive site management as per operational guidelines across the assigned region.
- Maintain a vigilant approach to risk management proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks and raising concerns to superiors in an appropriate and timely manner. For identified risks prioritize and ensuring action plans are followed to closure.
- Perform other tasks and duties assigned by the Regional Site Manager.
Qualification/Skills Requirement:
- A bachelors degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering.
- 5 yearscognateexperience.
- Good understanding of renewable energy(solar)
- Technical capacity Problem solving/ Analysis skill.
- Communication Proficiency including Intermediate use of Microsoft Office Suite (Including Word Excel Teams and Outlook).
- Toughness and collaboration skills.
- Project Management skills.
