Damen Digital Solutions focuses on data-driven software solutions that support ship owners in operating their vessels advancing their sustainability programs and providing valuable insights into emissions performance and maintenance status.

By using Damen Triton to analyze current operations and report on performance we deliver insights into topics such as fuel consumption emissions route optimization and doing so we help ship owners make their fleets more sustainable.

The Role

The Accountmanager IOT is involved in the acquisition of Remote monitoring solutions and custom made analytical reports of our clients ships. Lead generation networking account management and consultative selling are key activities within this role. With a open minded approach you are the linking pin between our clients and our development and operational team and translating customers feedback to our existing and future propositions inspires you to come to practical solutions and sales results.

As Accountmanager IOT you are part of the commercial team of Damen Digital Solutions BV.

Key Accountabilities

- To achieve a profitable turnover in the assigned product market combinations. Daily activities consists of initiating contacts with prospects and clients conducting visits generate new leads and prospects identify market opportunities.

- Establish maintain and expand relationships with customers and internal key stakeholders.

- Obtain enquiries prepare quotations and calculations with support of the organization issue and follow up.

- Responsible for finalizing sales agreements including negotiations with customers about prices product specifications deliveries and payment terms.

- Monitor and report the sales activities and results in a pro active and constructive way with a continuous focus on successful and effective way of work.

Skills & Experience:

Were looking for pioneers who dare to innovate and take ownership. To be successful you bring:

  • Experience with a commercial mindset and at least three years of relevant experience in the IT or Saas products.

  • Be proactive and a self starter who is able to generate business from scratch.

  • A good understanding of data platforms or digital products and services.

  • The ability to translate customer needs to existing solutions.
