The Environmental Project Manager is responsible for managing and executing diverse environmental projects with a focus on restoration compliance and remediation for federal state and private clients. The position ensures that projects are delivered safely efficiently and in compliance with applicable regulations and quality standards. This role supports the full lifecycle of environmental projects from planning to close-out acting as a technical expert and project leader while mentoring staff and building client relationships. This role requires a strong technical background project management skills and the ability to oversee multidisciplinary teams executing complex environmental projects. This position is based in Honolulu Hawaii.

Skills/Qualifications: Ability to professionally and effectively interact with managers coworkers field operations staff technical staff subcontractors and clients.
Military Installation Access and Security Clearance: This position requires access to military installations. Must be able to qualify for and obtain a base access pass and currently hold or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Education and Experience: A bachelors degree in Geology Environmental Science Environmental Engineering Environmental Chemistry or a related scientific or technical discipline is required. A minimum of three years of professional experience in environmental consulting site investigation or remediation project work is expected. Experience with field operations subcontractor oversight technical reporting and business development in environmental projects is strongly preferred. Familiarity with federal environmental projects particularly those involving military installations or munitions response is advantageous.
Certifications: Candidates must possess or be able to obtain OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification with current refresher training. Professional certifications such as Registered or Professional Geologist (RG/PG) Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Professional Engineer (PE) or Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) are highly desirable. Project management credentials such as a PMP certification are considered a plus and reflect a candidates readiness to lead complex projects.

The projected compensation range for this position is $80000.00 to $95000.00 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
