About the company
This company owns and operates more than 20 dealerships across New Zealand selling and servicing global brands of tractors and agricultural machinery.
They have distribution centres globally and are national distributors of several leading brands of farm machinery.
The role
You will be carrying out workshop and field based services maintenance and repairs to various brands of tractors and agricultural machinery within the Auckland region.
Skills required
The ideal background would be a mechanic with an agricultural/farming machinery background however diesel mechanics with experience on other equipment and adaptable skills are welcome to apply.
- Relevant automotive trade qualification
- Proven experience working on tractors and other agricultural / farming machinery is first preferrnce
- High standards of performance
- Ability to work without supervision
- Solid diagnostics and fault finding skills
- Team player and good work ethic
- Excellent communication skills
The rewards
This role pays top rates for those with relevant skills and experience offers overtime at time and a half as well as other benefits - rates will range between $32 and $40 per hour.
Training will also be offered on a regular basis to ensure technical skills are kept up to date and that technicians continue to add to and develop their abilities.
A vehicle will be provided for field service duties.
The role is permanent with a minimum 40 hours of work per week.
