Your Role in Our HR Team
Were looking for a proactive and people-oriented HR Generalist (HR Medewerker) to join our team in this role youll be a vital part of our HR operations supporting our employees across the Netherlands and Belgium. From recruitment and onboarding to HR systems and employee engagement youll help create a smooth and positive experience for our team - every step of the way.
Youll work closely with the HR Business Partner and collaborate with both local and international teams. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your HR career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
What Youll Be Doing
- Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers on day-to-day HR questions.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes with documentation systems and communication.
- Coordinate HR administrative changes related to employment contracts and organizational updates.
- Assist in payroll and benefits coordination with HR Shared Services and external partners (e.g. pension insurance ArboNed).
- Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems (e.g. SuccessFactors).
- Help organize recruitment activities including posting job ads and scheduling interviews.
- Support absence management processes and coordinate with occupational health providers.
- Assist in organizing training sessions and employee engagement activities.
- Participate in HR projects and contribute to process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with Dutch labor laws and company policies.
What You Bring
- Bachelors degree in HR Business Administration or similar
- Experience in HR or administrative roles (internships included)
- Basic understanding of Dutch labor law or a strong willingness to learn
- Interest in HR systems (experience with SuccessFactors is a plus)
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint)
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
- Proactive and eager to learn in a hands-on role
