DescriptionThe Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer plays a pivotal role in optimizing manufacturing processes implementing advanced technologies and ensuring high-quality efficient and cost-effective production. This role often involves leading cross-functional teams supporting new product introductions (NPI) and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage advanced manufacturing processes to enhance quality efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and implement strategies for process optimization and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with design quality and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
- Identify and integrate advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g. automation robotics additive manufacturing).
- Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulatory and quality standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
- Support equipment selection installation and validation.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for production challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Industrial Manufacturing or related field).
- 5 years of experience in advanced manufacturing or related engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies and process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma).
- Experience with CAD/CAM software ERP systems and manufacturing simulation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g. ISO OSHA)
