We are searching for a Global Industry Partnerships Manager to join IFSA. This is a full-time entrepreneurial role responsible for developing IFSAs next frontier in global engagement: becoming a valued workforce talent provider. This role will expand IFSAs employer network and build strategic partnerships that enable IFSA to support local labor markets by connecting high-potential U.S. graduates with international employers experiencing sector-specific talent gaps.
The Manager will engage employers to explore new business lines that may include program and post-program internships direct hiring pipelines industry-sponsored programming and employer-sponsored training or credentialing pathways. The role will collaborate across teams to ensure programmatic alignment value-driven proposals and scalable partnership models.
This is a high-impact role for a professional who blends strategic relationship development market assessment and global workforce insight with IFSAs work to bridge education and employment through intercultural applied learning.

In this position your responsibilities would include:
Business and Partnership Development
- Lead exploratory outreach to employers host cities to assess interest in hiring or training undergraduates through internships or recent U.S. graduates post-program in full-time roles.
- Develop and propose business-aligned partnership models that extend beyond academic experiences positioning IFSA as a source of workforce talent.
- Collaborate with site staff and the AVP to translate employer needs into service offerings (e.g. tailored hiring pipelines workforce readiness and training programs).
Employer Network Expansion & Relationship Management
- Build and manage a growing portfolio of employer relationships across sectors as identified.
- Strengthen connections with employers who host challenge projects to evolve these relationships toward strategic long-term collaboration.
- Facilitate direct dialogue with HR talent acquisition and department leads to co-develop value propositions for hiring program alumni.
Market Research and Business Design
- Monitor local labor market needs skills shortages and work visa trends in IFSA program countries to inform development of new opportunities.
- Assess feasibility and legal/regulatory considerations for international graduate employment (e.g. EU Blue Card UK Graduate Route).
- Identify and scope pilot projects build ROI cases and help define pathways for scaling successful employer engagement models.
Collaboration and Implementation
- Coordinate with IFSA academic site and advising teams to align graduate readiness with employer expectations.
- Collaborate with marketing to design employer-facing collateral and messaging.
- Provide regular updates partnership status reports and recommendations to executive leadership.
Data Impact and Evaluation
- Maintain partnership tracking systems and assist with data collection for internal reporting and external marketing.
- Contribute to impact storytelling by gathering partner feedback alumni testimonials and outcome metrics.
- Support reporting related to grant-funded or sponsored projects when applicable.
Alumni Engagement & Global Industry Connections
- Partner with AVP to develop and execute initiatives to engage with IFSA alumni to understand programs long-term impact gather feedback for program development and outcomes reporting.
- Develops alumni networks as a source of industry connections to fuel partnerships potential intern placements and further insights to enhance programs.
Requirements Work Experience and Education
- Bachelors degree required; Masters in Business Administration (MBA) international education workforce development or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in employer relations business development or workforce/HR strategy preferably in international or cross-cultural contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to turn exploratory ideas into structured initiatives partnerships or new business models.
- Strong understanding of workforce development trends talent acquisition and graduate employment challenges in Europe.
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills with senior industry stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and with multiple stakeholders from a diverse range of cultures and identities
- A cross-functional and global mindset; experience engaging with stakeholders from other departments to drive positive change and deliver results.
- Professional fluency in English (written and spoken) required.
- A genuine and enthusiastic connection to our mission and commitments
- Experience working across cultures time zones and institutional systems.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) Microsoft Office and project management platforms.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally to support employer engagement and program development.
- Legal authorization to work in and physically reside in Czech Republic.

- Flexibility to work across time zones and attend virtual meetings outside standard business hours.
- Ability to attend occasional meetings outside of local business hours due to the global nature of our operations
