Sentara Health is hiring for a Certified Medical Assistant/RMA/CCMA/CMA/EMT-B for Sentara Mount Jackson Health Center in Mount Jackson VA!
Sign-on bonus offered to qualified candidates!
Status: Full-Timepermanent position (40 hours)
Standard working hours: 8am to 5pm (with 1 hour lunch) M-F
Location: Will report daily to Sentara Mount Jackson Health Center at 120 Medical Dr Mt Jackson VA 22842.
Overview
The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training education and competency evaluations and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA) Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Education:
High School or Equivalent REQUIRED
Certification/Licensure:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) EMT Basic Certification (EMT) REQUIRED
Experience:
Related experience- Less than a year REQUIRED
