Job Description
At Anomali we specialize in cybersecurity software empowering organizations to detect and respond to threats more swiftly and effectively. Cybersecurity is becoming a big data problem and well need to leverage multiple technologies to address it. We are seeking a highly technical and innovative Graduate Software Engineer who is hungry for knowledge learns quickly and thinks outside the box. If you have a passion for creating groundbreaking technology products and thrive in a fast-paced Agile development environment we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
o Develop specifications in collaboration with stakeholders
o Design and Develop features for SaaS and Virtual Appliance form factors
o Write efficient code that is reusable and testable
o Participate in design and code reviews
o Rotational on-call duties for SaaS services
Qualifications
Required Skills / Experience:
o BSc/BEng/MSc/ in Computer Science or relevant Engineering discipline
o Proficient with Python Java C/C or another modern OOP language used for scalable distributed system backend development
o Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL cache such as Redis
o Creative Innovative and unlimited thinkers: Please include experience that highlights this. How will you help us be on the cutting edge tomorrow
oThis is a hybrid opportunity at our Redwood City CA office location. Relocation assistance is not provided. Full remote is not an option. We value collaboration on-site.
Desired Skills/Experience:
o Experience with one or more of AWS VMWare Docker Kubernetes
o Familiarity with SIEM IDP IDS FW or any cybersecurity related applications or processes is a plus
o Experience with Go Scala Java JavaScript
o Experience in writing Python applications to run on Linux and Windows
o Prior participation in coding competitions (eg. Codeforces USACO Platinum ICPC) is highly regarded
o Familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Spark is preferred
o Interest in GenAI is a bonus

$90000 - $140000 USD
Please note that the annual base salary range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as well as knowledge skills and experience of the addition to base pay this position is eligible for benefits and may be eligible for equity.
