Relationship Managers are responsible for nurturing one of our most valuable assets: our existing clients. Their ultimate goal is to proactively build long-term relationships that foster trust and loyalty while driving business growth through increased service adoption and identifying new opportunities within each fleet.
Working closely with internal teams they continuously seek ways to optimize client performance generate cost savings and align with client goals and practices. To succeed in this role Relationship Managers must demonstrate strong business acumen a deep understanding of our operational and product offering excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive mindset that anticipates client needs and delivers results.
- Generate share of wallet opportunities with existing customers. Identify needs and develop proposals with Elements value added services. Coordinate end to end sales process for a new asset and service on boarding (this will include risk under writing process customer visits contract negotiation and implementation process)
- Accountable for the overall relationship management of clients. Primary point of contact. Coordinate internal areas in order to meet day to day or new requirements. Meet clients to maintain and growth business relationship. Oversee line renewals and legal changes.
- New products & services introduction with existing clients to enhance profitability. Presentation of new products to clients once rolled out.
- Responsible for the development planning and execution of a strategic account plan. Including coordinating with strategic consulting projects and business reviews
- Identify and articulate best practices within the industry. Demonstrated analytical ability critical reasoning and strategic thinking in order to generate loyalty with customers
Education and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience.
- MBA Desirable
- Project Management success stories
- Proficient in English language (both written and oral)
- Experience within the vehicle management or a related financial/asset-based industry is preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of time dependent on client portfolio and location
- Adaptability to fast-paced evolving environments with shifting client needs.
- Exceptional communication skillsboth verbal and writtenwith the ability to influence senior decision-makers and navigate challenging conversation
- World-class negotiation skills and a proven track record of driving revenue growth and business expansion
- Strong emotional intelligence and executive presence with the ability to maintain trust during periods of internal or external disruption.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive mindset and ability to anticipate and solve problems before they escalate.
Knowledge and Competencies
- Ability to manage a healthy pipeline with a well-developed commercial discipline and forecasting
- A solid understanding of leasing rates terms financing alternatives billing vehicle expense reporting service cards and the proven ability to service and sell to all levels within a clients organization
- Highly proactive results-oriented self-starter with strong energy resilience and the ability to take initiative and drive actions independently with consistency and reliability.
- Strong capacity to manage multiple service and growth opportunities simultaneously while maintaining high-quality client interactions and effectively closing deal
- Must be a result focused self-starter with a high energy level with the ability to initiate and drive activities independently and reliability.
- Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and accountability for both account retention and business growth acting with a high degree of urgency and client-centricity.
- Continue to build and strengthen these relationships with particular emphasis on mapping out the key decision makers and devising plans how we will gain access to them
