The main responsibilities are:
- Develop comprehensive documentation of diagnostic symptoms that meets the clients organizational standards
- Obtain a deep understanding of products and services to translate complex product information into simple polished and engaging content
- Develop and maintain detailed databases of appropriate reference materials including research usability tests and design specifications
- Research outline write and edit new and existing content working closely with various departments to understand project requirements
- Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop organize and write manuals technical specifications and process documentation
- Work with development and support leads to identify all documentation repositories revise and edit and determine the best solution for data compilation and centralized storage
- Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation
- Preparation of OBD certification documentation and smaller tasks connected to this main activity.
- Negotiations with other functions within the company
- Certification documentation creation and project coordination of OBD projects for multiple OEMs

Profile
The perfect candidate has:
- Fluent English and German skills
- Degree in vehicle engineering or vehicle technician degree or a completed comparable engineering degree
- At least 3 years of working experience in engineering area or in technical writing
- Experience in handling INCA scan tools such as DiagRA
- Basic knowledge in embedded SW systems (SW-HW monitorings architecture of such a system)
- MS Office knowledge at intermediate level (Word Excel Outlook)
Advantage:
- OBD-II related SW knowledge and/or documentation experience
Location: Mainly remote with willingness to travel to Germany
