Job Description
Junior Accountant
- 1 - 2 years relevant accounting experience
- Familiarity with Hong Kong accounting and payroll standards
- Cantonese and English skills required
As a leading resourcing partner in the Asia region Novus Precision Partners are proud to be working with a prestigious dynamic company in the motorsports industry. The position provides an excellent opportunity for passionate individuals beginning their accounting careers and interested in the unique environment of motorsport.
- Manage daily accounts receivable and payable processes including processing invoices payments expense claims and credit card billings
- Prepare and review banking documentation for all transactions; oversee deposits and reconciliation of bank accounts including digital payment platforms
- Assist in preparing monthly quarterly and annual financial reports and statements compliant with Hong Kong accounting standards
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing procedures
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and ensure timely entries in the accounting system
- Support payroll processing in line with local regulations and liaise with HR as required
- Help with the preparation and filing of tax returns ensuring compliance with relevant Hong Kong tax regulations
- Liaise with vendors customers and other stakeholders regarding accounting and payment matters
- Assist the Finance Director in ad hoc finance and administrative tasks or special projects as assigned
- Continuously review and improve accounting processes to promote best practices and compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Collaborate with team members in supporting audit preparations and statutory/internal audits
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related discipline
- 1 2 years of relevant accounting experience
- Familiarity with Hong Kong accounting and payroll standards is an advantage
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. Xero) and MS Office
- Strong attention to detail organizational and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a diverse team
- Effective communication skills both written and spoken in English and Chinese
- High integrity professionalism and ability to handle confidential information
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and discipline with a team-oriented approach

- Ability to work occasional weekends or at race events if required by business needs
- Office-based standard business hours; flexibility may be needed during peak event periods
