Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Software Engineer to join our team focusing on process automation Power BI dashboard development and macro-based solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for streamlining recurring tasks automating data-driven reporting processes and building tools that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of business operations within the Planning & Fulfillment (P&F) function.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement automation scripts and tools to reduce manual efforts in recurring P&F reporting activities.
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI ensuring clear and actionable data visualization.
Create and optimize Excel macros (VBA) to automate repetitive data processing and reporting tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Planning Finance Operations) to identify automation opportunities and implement scalable solutions.
Ensure the integrity accuracy and security of data used in automation processes.
Provide technical documentation training and support to end-users.
Continuously monitor and improve existing automation tools and dashboards based on business feedback.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or related field.
2 years of experience in software development automation or business intelligence/reporting roles.
Proven expertise in Power BI (data modeling DAX Power Query).
Strong proficiency in Excel macros (VBA) and advanced Excel functions.
Hands-on experience with automation tools/scripts (e.g. Python Power Automate or similar platforms).
Understanding of data structures ETL processes and report optimization techniques.
Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a supply chain planning or operations environment.
Knowledge of SAP Oracle or other ERP systems.
Familiarity with SQL Python or R for data handling and transformation.
Exposure to process mapping tools and lean methodologies.
