Description

Following significant growth in recent years within Business Assurance Netherlands we are seeking to strengthen our operations by hiring a Sector Leader for the Process Industry & Construction sector. This key role will ensure focused leadership operational excellence and strategic growth.

As a Sector Leader you will oversee people management market opportunities and operational results within the sector. This is a dynamic fast-paced role requiring strategic vision strong leadership and a customer-centric approach.

This is a challenging fast-paced and varied role with a range of activities and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Foster a high-performance culture by inspiring and empowering your team.
  • Set clear goals expectations and performance standards to drive success.
  • Collaborate with Operations Manager Team Leader and Group Leaders to align efforts with organizational objectives.
  • Motivate team members with regular feedback coaching and recognition.
  • Provide strong leadership to the sector team fostering a collaborative high-performance culture.

Sector Portfolio Management

  • Develop implement and evaluate the sectors portfolio strategy to align with DNVs objectives.
  • Design customer-centric plans meet profit targets and support contract renewals.
  • Lead Planners Auditors and Contingent Workers to ensure cost-efficient service delivery.
  • Monitor performance improve processes and ensure data accuracy for forecasting and reporting.
  • Stay ahead of trends and standards like ISO 9001 ISO 45001 VCA and ISO 14001.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Build strong relationships with clients business partners and internal teams.
  • Engage with clients at all levels to understand their needs and provide impactful insights.
  • Guide customers in linking their management systems to business objectives and risks for improved outcomes.

Customer Impact & Role Model

  • Be a role model fostering teamwork inclusivity and accountability.
  • Drive transparency and quality to support clients in achieving their goals.



Responsibilities

You will have to work hard but there are a lot of benefits in the right person this is the perfect challenge.

  • Your location is Barendrecht but we have also adapted to the new normal. You may work in the office and alternate with working from home (aiming for 60% office availability).
  • We like to grow within DNV and the right people can have long careers. Combined with our tremendous annual growth this is an opportunity to grow with us.

  • This is an add on role; Workload is 60-80 days in combination with another Senior Function (e.q. senior auditor manager trainer)

Qualifications

We are open to candidates with diverse backgrounds experience and skills. However there are some traits that a successful candidate is sure to have.

Leadership Skills: Inspire and empower your team through coaching feedback and leading by example.

Technical Expertise: Knowledge of relevant standards like ISO 9001 ISO 45001 VCA and ISO 14001 in the Process Industry & Construction sector.

Energy and Drive: Ambitious energetic and a collaborative team player with a passion for success.

Communication Excellence: Strong verbal and written skills effectively simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.

Performance Management: Analytical mindset with proven experience in measuring and optimizing performance at both sector and individual levels.

Organizational Skills: Background in customer management or management system certification with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Language Proficiency: Fluent in Dutch and preferably Englishessential for seamless communication
