In this role you will work in a lab environment be responsible for using your engineering and scientific knowledge and top-end equipment to figure out the root cause of product failure and recommend corrective actions as well as present the findings to global teams and executives: - Understand the failure background and design the investigation plan- Conduct the investigation including but not limited to operating all kinds of advanced material characterization tools- Report your findings and discuss or debate with your colleagues on the next steps conclusions and corrective actions- Present the data in global meetings and/or executive reviews
- Graduate degree in Chemistry Materials Science Polymer Science or related disciplines and Ph.D. preferred.
- Experienced in using chemistry analysis tools such as FTIR GC-MS ToF-SIMS etc.
- Fluent in English highly effective communication skills including the ability to seek direction listen to feedback as well as communicate complex findings in a clear and understandable manner.
- Adaptability to fast-paced environment and work scope change to meet business needs strong aptitude for learning new techniques.
- Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple high-priority tasks at the same time.
- Willing to collaborate closely across organizations.
- Failure Analysis lab or Material Industry experience.
