Regional Technology Head Fragrance & Beauty LATAM your future role

Working on-site in our corporate offices in Sao Paulo and reporting to the Head of Global Fragrance Technology you will join a team of passionate shapers of the best fragrances in the world.

As the Regional Technology Head Fragrance & Beauty Latin America you will lead a highly skilled and experienced team of scientists and fragrance experts. Your mission will be to provide a comprehensive technical analytical and sensory support to our Commercial and Development communities in the region making an important contribution to deliver best-in-class fragrance solutions to our customers and to consolidate Givaudans market leadership.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Represent the Science &Technology Function in Latin America and act as first point of contact on all related topics.
Work with the Regional Leadership Team to identify define prioritise and action the required Technology driven / supported initiatives / activities.
Lead (people budget activities) the Regional Technology Team located in Sao Paulo Mexico City and Bogota to support our Commercial and Development Organisations to grow our Latin American business.
Provide expert knowledge and advice to internal and external customers on the Givaudan technology portfolio. Facilitate the promotion and implementation of our technologies with Givaudan customers.
Ensure appropriate support for Perfume Analysis and Sensory Analysis activities across the region.
Align with Global Analytical and Sensory best practices.
Research and propose original ways to combine existing technologies to deliver innovative fragrance solutions.
Collect and consolidate technical competitive intelligence in the region.
Represent Latin America as a member of the Global Technology Leadership Team.
Promote and embed EHS guidelines / best practices.

Your professional profile requires:

University degree in relevant scientific discipline ideally Chemistry.
At least 10 years of experience in Research & Development/Science & Technology function in the fragrance and/or the FMCG industries with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role in a multicultural and international environment.
Fluency in English Spanish and Portuguese.
Excellent organisational managerial and communication skills.
Action oriented mindset with highly efficient priority setting. Drive for results with a sense of urgency.
Very strong business acumen and comfortable at managing ambiguity with a genuine and relentless customer focus.
Ability to develop motivate and direct others.
Adhesion to and establishment of high ethical values and beliefs.
