eCommerce Engineering is responsible for Coupang core eCommerce services as well as new emerging business services Coupang constantly invest to wow our customers like Coupang Eats Coupang . Job Overview
In this role you will be the main driving force behind one of the biggest tech organizations in Coupang eCommerce Engineering. eCommerce Engineering covers the businesses in Coupang Coupang Eats and other confidential business. Define iterate and improve operation excellence in large organization.
- Drive Coupangs strategic projects and technical initiatives across the company directly or indirectly impacts millions of customers life.
- End-to-end responsibility: from diagnostic and strategy development to execution and accountability for quarterly and annual goals.
- High exposure to various tech and business leaders depending on the focus project.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new tools and process to support the strategic direction of the organization.
- Create and manage long-term goals of the organization.
- Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction safety quality and team member performance.
- Prioritize programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
- Act as an internal accelerator across multiple organization to help implementation of new tools and processes.
- Work with internal stakeholders (tech finance legal marketing teams) to drive scalable solutions and resolutions.
- Identify systems needs and/or define process to improve efficiency and enable scalability.
- Define metrics to measure the efficacy of internal resources and lead teams to improve metrics by making modification to current processes.
- Use data to inform system needs and prioritize system requirements.
Qualifications
- 10 years of strategic or/and business development experience.
- Experience in challenging problem solving deep diving into an issue identifying root-causes and suggesting realistic solutions.
- Experience synthesizing information quickly distilling key takeaways and presentinginsights to senior leadership.
- Experience working with large sets of structured and unstructured data and synthesizinginto business insights.
- High standards and a bias toward action.
- Expert communication and interpersonal skills must be able to run meetings and workstreams with senior leadership across the company.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines prioritize workload and achieve effective results in fast-paced and dynamic environment; effective multi-tasking skills are vital.
- Leadership experience.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- BA / BS degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Solid Technical Program Management at Scale: Proven ability to lead large complex software programs with full ownership across strategy execution and delivery. Strong operational rigor with clear goal-setting roadmapping and feedback mechanisms.
- Software-Oriented Execution & Engineering Partnership: Deep experience working with software engineering leaders understanding system architecture and driving technically grounded decisions. Able to speak the language of engineers and lead initiatives involving non-functional requirements and platform-level changes.
- Analytical Depth: Sharp with metrics able to deep dive into data to identify gaps prioritize effectively and move with urgency in dynamic environments.
