The role is multi-disciplinary and includes Clinical Chemistry Haematology and Blood Transfusion Services.Job Responsibilities include:- Sample Reception
- Routine operation maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation and equipment
- Technical validation
- Quality assurance
- Inventory management
- Candidates for supervisory role will be further required to manage the laboratory with roster planning coaching of junior/new staff resolve all technical queries as well as ensuring compliance with regulations from relevant accreditation bodies.
Requirements- BSc in Biomedical Science or equivalent with at least 5-8 years of experience in one of the sections (hematology/ Clinical chemistry/ Blood transfusion service)
- Good laboratory planning and organisational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good IT skills
- Proactive with good leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Service-oriented and customer-focused
- Flexibility to work on shifts which include weekends / public holidays
- Candidates with relevant work experience may be considered for supervisory positions
