Technologists at WorldQuant research design code test and deploy firmwide platforms and tooling while working collaboratively with researchers and portfolio managers. The Role:
- Within European business hours monitor execution across equities FX Futures and other asset classes trading in different regions.
- Provide first-line support for any issues arising from the automated execution flow.
- Conduct project work in areas including adding new liquidity to the execution platform and reducing the cost of implementing WorldQuants models.
- Analyze large datasets to guide further automation and refinement of execution desk processes.
- Interface directly with Portfolio Managers Brokers Senior Management Compliance Risk and many other teams.
What Youll Bring:
- Degree in a quantitative or technical discipline from a top tier institution
- 2 years of work experience gained in a buy-side or sell-side institution in a Trading DevOps or Analytics role supporting investment strategies
- Enthusiasm to learn more about financial markets and execution trading
- Experience with scripting languages (Python) and databases (SQL) a strong plus
- Experience with at least one mainstream asset class (equities FX fixed income credit derivatives)
