Junior Logistics Analyst (12 month contract)
Code:MMLL / 23283
Salary:$25 - $35 per hour
Duration: 12 Month Contract
The Junior Logistics Analyst will assist with analyzing courier and freight forwarder reports consolidating transport and customs data and filing/monitoring customs duty and tax claims.
Your Tasks:
- Review commercial invoices and shipment documents to identify incorrect duties and surcharges.
- File dispute claims with couriers for shipments with incorrect charges.
- Communicate and report discrepancies to the Finance team promptly.
- Document all identified discrepancies and dispute actions internally for record-keeping and audit purposes.
- Follow up with couriers on the status of dispute claims until resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed to resolve shipment charge issues.
Our Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in a Logistics or Procurement related areas.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Logistics Procurement Customs or related areas.
- Medium to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Familiarity with SAP transactions preferably within the MM (Materials Management) module.
- Experience interpreting commercial invoices and bills of lading Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to stay updated on changing tariff regulations and scenarios.
