Location:Houston TX
Schedule: Full-Time Monday Friday (8-hour shifts at shop) Overtime as needed Field work may include evenings weekends and up to 12-hour shifts.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technician with strong mechanical aptitude to support equipment operations repairs and maintenance in both shop and field environments. This role combines responsibilities traditionally performed by shop and field technicians offering a dynamic opportunity for candidates who enjoy variety problem-solving and hands-on work.

The Technician will be responsible for diagnosing repairing testing and maintaining equipment machines and components. This includes performing work in-shop as well as at client sites (domestic and international onshore or offshore). Candidates must be safety-oriented detail-driven and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections diagnostics repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment including compressors generators pumps boosters hydraulics and related systems.

  • Disassemble reassemble and restore mechanical and electrical systems according to specifications and safety standards.

  • Develop repair plans identify necessary parts and complete quality assurance testing after repairs.

  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment demonstrations and customer support in the field.

  • Complete service reports work orders parts requests and technical documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Operate and maintain tools shop equipment forklifts overhead/jib cranes and service vehicles.

  • Keep work areas vehicles and tools safe clean and organized.

  • Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines including PPE requirements drug/alcohol policies and compliance standards.

  • Collaborate with supervisors managers and team members to meet project goals.

  • Travel as required to client sites with availability for extended hours when on assignment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree or apprenticeship experience preferred.

  • Valid drivers license with a clear driving record.

  • Ability to pass DOT and/or Non-DOT drug/alcohol screenings.

  • 1 years of relevant work experience (mechanical maintenance or heavy equipment).

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose problems.

  • Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. stand for extended periods and work in physically demanding environments.

  • Comfortable working in varying conditions (heat cold humid noisy or confined spaces).

  • Self-motivated detail-oriented and able to work independently or with a team.

Work Environment

  • Shop: May involve exposure to noise vibrations moving parts fumes and extreme weather conditions.

  • Field: May include offshore or onshore work day/night shifts and exposure to challenging environments.
