As anApplication Engineer you will serve as a technical sales specialist responsible for providing comprehensive pre-sales support across ASEAN Japan and Korea markets. This role combines deep technical expertise in guest room management systems with strong customer-facing skills to design customized solutions conduct technical presentations and support the sales process.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical aspects of the sales process working closely with the regional sales team to identify customer requirements and develop tailored Building Automation solutions.
- Preparing technical proposals creating system architecture diagrams and developing detailed project specifications that demonstrate the value proposition ofBuilding Automation technology.
- Create innovative solutions that address specific customer challenges in energy management guest comfort and operational efficiency.
- Staying current with product developments understanding competitive landscape and identifying opportunities for system enhancements based on customer feedback and market trends.
- Conduct technical presentations and live system demonstrations for prospective customers showcasing the capabilities and benefits ofBuilding Automation guest room management technology.
- Customize presentation content based on audience needs and the confidence to handle technical questions and objections in real-time.
Qualifications
Key Experience & Capabilities:
- Have Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Computer Science or related technical field.
- Continuous learning mindset with commitment to staying current with emerging technologies in smart building systems.
- Possess strong technical foundation in building automation systems with particular emphasis on HVAC controls lighting management and energy optimization technologies.
- Understanding of communication protocols such as BACnet Modbus and TCP/IP networking is essential for successful system integration and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics mechanical drawings and system architecture diagrams is required.
