Job Summary

Clarity are currently recruiting for agency General Nurses to be part of the Public Health Nursing team as community nurses with the HSE in South City Dublin.

About the role

The agency nurse appointed to this post will work within Primary Care in the PHN service as a community nurse
The work base will be the Primary Care Centre. Care is delivered in the clients home and also in the clinic setting-Travel around South Dublin necessary for this post. Staff are eligible to claim travel allowance for work related travel.
The service is provided Mon to Friday 9- 5. Hours can be negotiated and part-time available
Onsite training and orientation provided for the agency nurse by HSE staff

Requirements

Access to own transport is required for this post.

Work authorisation is mandatory
NMBI registration as an RGN
Community nursing experience preferable but not essential

Responsibilities:

Wound care management both in clinic and in the domiciliary setting
Diabetes management
Incontinence assessment and management
Nursing assessment post hospital discharge/GP referral
General nursing care for the chronically ill or disabled
Oncology support and end of life care
Nursing assessment for home supports
