Job Description

JOB TITLE: Sales and Distribution Executive (Detergent Industry)

JOB LOCATION:Lagos

ADVERTISEMENT

JOB DETAILS:

  • A dedicated and results-driven Sales and Distribution Executive with over 5 years of experience in the detergent sector responsible for managing regional sales optimizing distribution channels and driving revenue growth.
  • Possesses strong expertise in building relationships with key distributors retailers and customers while ensuring the effective execution of sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Distribution Management:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in assigned regions.
  • Manage relationships with distributors wholesalers and retail partners to ensure timely product availability.
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle from lead generation to order fulfillment ensuring customer satisfaction.

Market Analysis & Reporting:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends competitive activity and customer needs in the detergent market.
  • Provide regular sales reports forecasts and market insights to senior management.
  • Analyze sales performance and recommend corrective actions to improve growth.

Product Promotion & Marketing:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Support in the development and execution of brand-building initiatives in local markets.
  • Train and guide sales teams on product features benefits and selling techniques.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Maintain and build strong relationships with existing customers while seeking new business opportunities.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues related to product quality delivery and service.
  • Ensure that customers needs are met thereby fostering loyalty and long-term partnerships.

Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:

  • Work closely with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure stock availability and minimize stockouts.
  • Monitor stock levels at distributors and retailers suggesting reorders when needed to avoid supply disruptions.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Provide training and leadership to junior sales staff ensuring a high level of performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing operations and finance to align sales objectives with company goals.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field (preferred).
  • 5 years of proven experience in sales and distribution preferably in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or detergent industry.
  • Previous experience with leading brands in the detergent or home care category is an advantage.

N400000 monthly.
