Job Description
As Senior Manager of Retail Technology Innovation in China you will be the focal point of architecting and building the technology for customer-facing experiences that bring Apples brand to life in Retail Stores. Partnering across the organization and broader Apple youll develop a strategy to best showcase Apples products software and services while pushing the boundaries of what is possible. -Define technical requirements and develop concepts using a variety of design tools including scenarios sketches storyboards user flows wireframes motion studies mock-ups and prototypes-Hire and build and lead a dynamic regional team aligned with the strategic plan-Identify and activate opportunities to enhance customer experiences across a complex business landscape-Develop clear measurement criteria to define and evaluate success-Stay informed on emerging technologies and customer research to identify innovative interaction patterns-Lead with a customer-first mindset using insights and research to drive decisions and improvements
- 10 years of hardware/ software engineering and/or product management experience related to consumer products and/or Retail
- 7 years experience directly managing and mentoring a team responsible for the delivery of technology initiatives and software and hardware systems
- Technical understanding and hands-on experience with Native App development Super App design and architecture back-end systems and content management systems
- Expertise leading complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple technology systems and platforms
- Hands-on experience in Agile Software Development and rapid iteration/ prototyping
- Demonstrated deep understanding of the customer-facing technology landscape in China and approaches necessary for success
- Skilled navigating fast-paced dynamic environments with a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution
- Exceptional communication and influence skills with the ability to drive clarity and alignment across all levels
- Proven experience creating and managing product roadmaps supporting operational and business goals
- Skilled in developing requirements for engineering and design teams and guiding solution delivery through every phase
- Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally
