Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist for a travel contract at SUNY Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse NY. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise patient care skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Title: Travel Radiology CT Technologist
Location: Syracuse NY 13210
Facility: SUNY Upstate University Hospital
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shifts: Evening Shift 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM (8 hours)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Pay Range: $2920 $3200 per week (including non-taxable stipends)

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
Licensure: Valid NYS license/registration
Experience: Minimum 1 year of CT experience as a radiologic technologist

Roles & Responsibilities:

Perform radiographic and CT examinations under the supervision of departmental radiologists.
Greet patients explain procedures and ensure comfort and safety during imaging.
Accurately position patients and set appropriate exposure factors for optimal image quality.
Adhere to all radiation safety and protection protocols to minimize unnecessary exposure.
Operate imaging equipment efficiently troubleshoot minor issues and report malfunctions to supervisors.
Process images and input accurate data into the Radiology Information System for documentation and billing.
Follow all departmental policies procedures and protocols.
Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services to meet the needs of referring physicians and radiologists.
