Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift Type: 8-Hour Day Shifts MondayFriday No On-Call
Shift Schedule:

2 days: 6:45 AM 7:15 PM
2 days: 6:45 AM 3:15 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1835 (Gross)

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist for a 13-week day shift contract assignment in Atlanta GA. The ideal candidate will have strong Neuro and Thoracic surgical experience and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms ensuring all necessary surgical instruments and supplies are properly sterilized and available.
Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments sponges and other sterile supplies.
Maintain a sterile field and adhere to strict infection control standards.
Handle specimens appropriately and ensure accurate documentation.
Collaborate effectively with surgical and nursing teams to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient outcomes.
Participate in the turnover and preparation of operating rooms for subsequent procedures.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting.
Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
BLS Certification: American Heart Association (AHA).
Specialized Experience: Recent Neuro and Thoracic surgery experience required.
Commitment: Must be willing to complete the full 13-week assignment.
Travel Requirement: No local candidates within 50 miles of Atlanta GA.
