Job Description
Job Title: Agile Project Manager (SDLC Enterprise Delivery State of Texas Preferred)
Location: Hybrid - (LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Skilled in managing projects with implementations across large organizations including developing and managing project plans documenting risks issues and contingency plans.
- Ability to research gather assemble correlate and analyze facts; devise solutions to problems; and prepare concise reports and recommendations.
- Experience overseeing the development of SDLC artifacts ensuring business requirements are translated into technical specifications and guiding the SDLC process.
- Proven success in developing and maintaining strong relationships with multiple project sponsors and stakeholders.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to summarize and escalate issues effectively.
- Ability to provide weekly status updates and conduct regular project team meetings.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Agile methodology including overseeing and tracking development progress ensuring project assignments align with timelines.
- Agile project management experience with feature-driven sprints.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience implementing and using Agile methodologies and best practices for one or more State of Texas agencies.
- PMP Certification.
Responsibilities:
- Lead large-scale enterprise project implementations ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans track deliverables and maintain contingency strategies.
- Facilitate the SDLC process ensuring business requirements are translated into technical deliverables.
- Monitor and oversee Agile development processes manage sprint planning and ensure timely delivery of features.
- Conduct regular team meetings provide clear communication across stakeholders and deliver comprehensive project status reports.
- Identify escalate and resolve project risks and issues effectively.
- Foster collaboration across business and technical teams to drive successful project outcomes.
