Duration: 1 Year (with possibility of extension)

Shift: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (100% Onsite)
Job Summary
The Technician II will support the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) and Neuro divisions through hands-on mechanical and electrical testing of medical devices including pacemakers defibrillators loop recorders leads and related packaging. This role requires working in a regulated environment to ensure compliance with design safety and performance standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct mechanical and electrical testing on CRM/Neuro products and components.
- Collect data document results and generate accurate test reports.
- Set up and troubleshoot test instrumentation and complex test setups.
- Operate testing systems and tools such as:
- Drop shock and vibration systems
- Environmental chambers
- Instron systems
- Oscilloscopes multimeters and signal generators
- Follow test protocols work instructions and industry standards.
- Manage test schedules to optimize equipment and team utilization.
- Communicate progress risks and results with managers and stakeholders.
- Participate in audits and quality compliance reviews.
- Occasionally support offsite testing including rare overnight or weekend shifts.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on testing experience (mechanical or electrical).
- Vocational/technical education in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
- Ability to work with schematics diagrams and engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel for documentation/reporting.
- Familiarity with test methods calibrations and safety protocols.
Preferred
- Background in medical device testing or regulated industries (FDA ISO/IEC 17025).
- Experience with soldering metrology EMC or high-voltage safety practices.
- Knowledge of Test Method Validation (TMV) and Installation Qualifications (IQ).
- Strong attention to documentation quality and compliance standards.
Skills
- Ability to precisely follow written guidance and work instructions.
- Strong willingness to learn and collaborate in a team environment.
- Experience in electrical or mechanical testing (electrical preferred).
