Job Description: DishwasherJob SummaryThe Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes glassware tableware cooking utensils etc. using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the dishwashing area is clean safe and sanitary at all times. Key Responsibilities- Wash dishes glassware flatware pots or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
- Place clean dishes utensils or cooking equipment in storage areas.
- Maintain kitchen work areas equipment or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
- Stock supplies such as food or utensils in serving stations cupboards refrigerators or salad bars.
- Sweep or scrub floors.
- Sort and remove trash placing it in designated pickup areas.
- Performing other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications- Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonalcommunication skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)and ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to handle emergency and stressful situations like resolving customer conflicts
- Ability to make quick decisions
- Ability to create a positive and welcoming customer experience
