Job Duties
Responsibilities for Hardware Quality:
- Lead hardware development ensuring hardware quality assurance specification conformance structural confirmation product verification and Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI).
- Manage documentation including the maintenance of Hardware Requirement Specifications (HRS) processes procedures and formats.
- Engage in external activities for device safety including collaborating on device safety guidelines with three other operators and the MCPC.
Responsibilities for Manufacturing Quality:
- Conduct risk assessments for new vendors and factories.
- Control manufacturing quality ensuring specification conformance and fault analysis.
- Manage documentation related to manufacturing quality including Quality Requirement Specifications (QRS) assessment checklists and Change Request (CR) formats.
- Oversee quality control of products arriving at the Rakuten Mobile warehouse.
As IoT devices are anticipated to be included in our scope in the future there is a potential for resource shortages. We are actively seeking personnel who can manage and lead device development and are proficient in quality assurance. Ideal candidates will also be familiar with manufacturing quality and have practical experience in factory audits.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in consumer product development and hardware verification.
- Practical experience in auditing production lines and conducting acceptance inspections.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in circuit design power supply design and battery design.
